DEVELOPMENT BASED ISLAMIC (PBI)
Development based on Islam (PBI) is a new discipline that has emerged around the 1970s. According to Muhammad Syukri Salleh (2008), PBI, referring to the process of developing a comprehensive, integrated and balanced. It involves all aspects of human life as individuals, communities and countries. PBI also include seven principles of Islamic Development consisting of strengthening the aspects of spiritual and physical.
In this case, 'tasawur' serves as a basis in the Regulation and is the first principle. According to Muhammad Syukri Salleh (2008), the Quran directly or indirectly illustrates three important points of the main elements in Islam 'tasawur'. First, God is the creator. Secondly, the human creature. Third, the creation of the universe as that too.
Meanwhile, Shukri Hanafi (2012) argues that 'tasawur' Islam comprises three main aspects, namely Faith, worship and morality. Of the three main aspects, faith is paramount (Sidek Baba, 2006). Although it looks different from Muhammad Syukri Salleh (2008) However, three of the main issues discussed actually touched on a similar discussion. For example, the trust, including trust God as the creator of man and nature. Worship looks at man as a servant of God and the universe always offers the remembrance of Allah SWT. Akhlaq establish human relationships with God, between man and man, and man and the universe.
In addition to PBI-based 'tasawur' (world-view), PBI anchored to the epistemology of Islam and became a major source of al-Quran and Hadith, as well as as a source of support and consensus of the scholars. Development is based on the grassroots Islam. This means that PBI is formed of philosophy and framework of Islam itself.
