Fenomena ‘Mat Rempit’ sebenarnya adalah manifestasi evolusi perlumbaan motosikal haram semenjak tahun 1970-an lagi (Ismi et al., 2009). Penglibatan belia terhadap aktiviti lumba haram ini adalah pada tahap yang membimbangkan (Musa, 2006). Kebimbangan umum yang dimaksudkan adalah bagaimanakah keadaan negara kelak sekiranya fenomena ‘Mat Rempit’ yang terlibat dengan tingkah laku agresif tidak ditangani sebaik-baiknya. Untuk mencapai penyelesaian terhadap kebimbangan tersebut, kajian ini akan memahami terlebih dahulu profil demografi mereka, keterlibatan dalam aktiviti perlumbaan motosikal haram, dan seterusnya memberi tumpuan kepada skop utama kajian.

The general concern is how the State of the country at a later date if the Mat Rempit ' phenomenon ' affected by the aggressive behavior is not addressed. To achieve solutions to these concerns, this study will advance understanding of the demographic profile of their engagement in illegal motorcycle racing activities, and in turn to focus on the main scope of the study.

Public concern in question is what is the state later if the phenomenon of 'Mat Rempit' involved in aggressive behavior is not handled as well as possible. To achieve a solution to these concerns, this study will advance understanding of the demographic profile of their involvement in illegal races, and so focused on the scope of the study.
