Justeru, fenomena ‘Mat Rempit’ di Malaysia sering kali dikaitkan dengan pelbagai istilah yang merujuk kepada individu yang terlibat dalam tingkah laku memandu motosikal secara laju dan membahayakan diri dan orang awam. Fenomena ini seolah-olah mendapat nafas baru dengan gelaran ‘Mat Rempit’ setelah melalui pelbagai revolusi nama dan panggilan.
