Tesis ini mengkaji tingkah laku agresif dalam kalangan dua kumpulan ‘Mat Rempit (lumba haram) dan ‘Mat Rempit’ (non-lumba haram) di negeri Pulau Pinang. Kajian ini menumpukan kepada apakah faktor-faktor risiko yang mempengaruhi penglibatan dalam tingkah laku agresif dan bentuk-bentuk tingkah laku agresif verbal dan fizikal. Kajian ini mengambil satu pendekatan interpretivis yang menggunakan strategi abduktif dan metod fenomenologi. Kajian ini menggunakan Teori Pembelajaran Sosial (Akers & Sellers, 2004) sebagai satu perspektif teoritikal. Sampel dipilih melalui kaedah ‘purposive sampling’, ‘Snowball sampling’, dan ‘kaedah judgemental’.

This thesis examines the aggressive behavior among the two groups ' Mat Rempit (racing) and ' Mat Rempit ' (non-racing) in the State of Penang. This study focuses on what are the risk factors that influence participation in aggressive behaviour and other forms of verbal aggressive behaviours and physical. This study takes a interpretivis approach that uses abduktif and phenomenological formulation of the strategy. This study uses Social Learning Theory (Akers & Sellers, 2004) as a theoretical framework perspective. A sample selected in a manner to ensure sampling ', ' Snowball ' sampling ', and ' judgemental ' method.
